Your Cuppa May Decrease Risk of Diabetes!

Researchers reporting in The Archives of Internal Medicine have shown that tea and coffee drinkers have a lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes. 500,000 people over 18 studies were studied and decaffeinated had a greater effect, so caffeine is not the cause of the association.

While this is just an observational study and the researchers don't really understand the link, for all of us coffee and tea lovers it just puts a smile on our faces as we sip that nice warm cup of tea or coffee!
