I asked my Aunt about Burmese recipes. She Burmese curry they use so little of garlic..sometime they don't put it at all. The curry has been added mainly onion. Sometimes they add tomato and green chili.

Burmese Style Chicken Curry

  • Onion (medium size) 12
  • Fish Sauce 1 teaspoon / or a little
  • Chili Powder 2 teaspoon / or taste
  • Salt salt to taste
  • Oil 3 or 4 teaspoon
  1. firstly..put oil...then fry half of the chopped onion until it turn into golden color. put aside
  2. second, fry the rest of the chopped onion also need to fry until golden color like above one, then put chicken, after that put chili powder (Burmese do not used to eat so spicy curry, they only put chili powder mainly for color), a little fish sauce.
  3. And cook well. u can add water to boil. (pls add water little by little.... not too much at one time)
